We are thrilled to announce the release of ReconHub Version 1.42.0, marking another milestone in our continuous effort to innovate and improve the functionalities of ReconHub. This release introduces improvements including the introduction of multi-currency sums and refined tools for more straightforward transaction management, all aimed at enhancing clarity, precision, and efficiency in the reconciliation process. Explore the new features and improvements included in this update to see how they can help you.
Transaction list view improvements
Multi-currency sums
With this release, it is now possible to see totals for tables where amounts are shown in multiple currencies. You do not need to filter by currency anymore, as ReconHub will show you the total for each currency.
Filter for manually adjusted transactions
We're introducing a new feature to our Transaction List View: the ability to filter and display only those transactions that were manually processed - for example manually matched or skipped.
This is a great starting point when looking for potential errors, since manual transactions could have been mistakenly processed in the wrong way. This filter is a great way to quickly spot and fix such problems.
Multi-select for Transaction and Settlement Matching State
Customize your view by selecting multiple match states in the Transaction or Settlement view, simplifying your workflow.
New Wizard for Simplified Rule Creation
In addition to the introduction of Exact and Tolerant Transaction Match Rules in previous releases, we have further improved the functionality by introducing a new wizard designed specifically to simplify the creation of these rules.
This wizard streamlines the process into five straightforward steps, guiding you through each stage with intuitive prompts and options. By breaking down the rule creation process into manageable steps, you can seamlessly navigate through the necessary fields without feeling overwhelmed. This user-friendly approach facilitates efficient rule creation.
Contract Number in Bank Payments
We've enhanced the reconciliation process by introducing a dedicated column for contract numbers in the bank payments. Typically, the payment from the acquirer is initiated based on a contract number. If provided in the bank statement, this same contract number appears in the bank payment and is utilized for matching purposes. Now, with the addition of the contract number column, you can easily identify and match payments accurately, streamlining your reconciliation process.
Introducing Central Identity & Access Management
Note: The feature will become fully available to all users in June and does not affect on-premise customers.
We're thrilled to announce that we will launch Central Identity & Access Management soon, enhancing security and streamlining the login and credential management process. This centralized system simplifies access to all ReconHub resources by implementing Single Sign-On (SSO). SSO allows users to log in once and gain access to multiple applications without the need to re-authenticate, making it easier and more secure to manage and use ReconHub resources.
Benefits:
- Advanced Security: Your security is our priority. With Central Identity & Access Management, we've strengthened our security measures by consolidating user authentication and authorization processes, making our platform more resilient against potential threats.
- Centralized Solution: Access all ReconHub resources through a single, centralized login.
- Single Sign-On: Simplify your login experience with Single Sign-On. Use your existing credentials for ReconHub services, reducing the need for multiple passwords.
Impact:
Please note that there are no changes affecting on-premise users. However, for our cloud-based users, we have several important updates to share:
- New Login URL: You will be redirected to a new URL for logging in to ReconHub.
- New UI: Enjoy a refreshed interface for enhanced usability.
- Sign in with Microsoft: Integration with Microsoft accounts (Available soon for selected customers).
- New Account Management Workflow: Manage your account seamlessly through our new workflow. Your private data, including name, email, password, and two-factor authentication settings, will now be managed externally through our identity solution which is accessible from ReconHub.
- User Creation: User creation remains unchanged, ensuring a smooth transition for existing workflows.
Please note: For users who will not logon to ReconHub between Release 1.42 and June 24, a new password will be required for security reasons.
