The new Outstanding Receivables page in the Accounting section of ReconHub helps you keep track of unpaid amounts quickly and easily. This page provides an organized view of all unpaid amounts, already grouped by payment processor, so you can get a clear picture of what's still due.
Clicking on the transaction count for any group takes you to a filtered view of the Open Items page, where you can dive into specific transactions for detailed analysis.
We’re introducing Automated Balance Matching, which now allows you to automate not just single matches, but also balance matches. This means that instead of manually matching balance transactions every time, you can set up a rule to handle it automatically, saving you significant time and effort.
How It Works
When creating a transaction match rule, you can choose whether it’s for a single match or a balance match. For balance matches, you'll need to define at least a Match ID (such as an Order ID) along with the mandatory fields Amount and Currency. Additionally, we advise specifying fields for an Organizational unit and Date to ensure a more accurate and efficient matching. You can also set a tolerance for the balance match rule directly on the Amount field or use the Ignore seconds feature for Date. Once set, the rule will automatically match multiple transactions sharing the same ID as a balance match based on these criteria.
Why It’s Useful
By automating balance matches, you no longer need to manually match multiple transactions across ECR and EFT. Once the rule is in place, the system will handle it for you, ensuring accurate matches and speeding up your reconciliation process.
Automatic Detection of EFT Reversals
With this update, ReconHub automatically recognizes EFT reversals if there is no matching ECR transaction. The prerequisite is that the reversal is made promptly and the amount is the same as the original transaction. The transaction reconciliation is skipped, but the settlement reconciliation takes place as usual.
Enhanced Date Range Picker
We’ve improved the Date Picker for added convenience. In addition to selecting a date range (such as a week, month, or custom period), you can now quickly navigate to the previous or next identical date range with a single click on the arrow in the date picker.
