Release Date: 28.09.2023 8pm - 11pm (UTC+2)
In version 1.36.0 of ReconHub, we introduce updates across various sections. Detailed descriptions of the most notable changes are provided below.
Consistency Checks and Notification for Exports
With this release, we introduce two consistency checks that help to prevent unintentional double postings, or missing postings in your reconciliation process: Ambiguity Check and Completeness Check.
Both checks can be used on EFT or bank transactions and can be activated as part of the export rule settings. For each of the checks, you can choose if the corresponding export should be aborted if the check fails.
In addition, to make things easier for you, we introduce a notification feature for exports.
You can configure who will get notified if either of the checks failed, so you can address the issue where necessary. You can also choose to get a notification when your export is done correctly, so you know everything went smoothly.
Ambiguity Check
The Ambiguity Check will identify any instances where multiple postings use the same amount field of one single transaction. This could mean that there are duplicate postings for a single EFT or bank transaction.
By enforcing this Ambiguity Check mechanism, ReconHub prevents unintentional "double" postings and ensures each EFT and bank transaction amount will be posted only once during the export, providing you with accurate and reliable reconciliation results.
Completeness Check
The Completeness Check ensures that there is a corresponding posting for every EFT transaction and bank payment in your records.
When activated, the Completeness Check scans your transactions to guarantee that no EFT transaction or bank payment is left without a corresponding posting. The option "Ignore skipped entities" will not run this check on skipped transactions.
Transaction matching insights
Previously, in the transaction details, we displayed information about the applied settlement match rules in the Analysis tab for bank reconciliation. Now, we're extending this functionality to transaction matching. With this update, you'll have access to detailed information regarding the applied transaction match rules.
Trigger edit view
Previously, making changes to
trigger details and arguments required navigating through Tenant imports. Our new Trigger editing simplifies this process, allowing you to manage trigger settings seamlessly within the Trigger details page.
